May 1, 1999 Bass Symposium with Buell Neidlinger a Success

The San Luis Obispo (SLO) Bass Club is an informal collaboration of local bassists who get together on a regular basis to read through their compositions, study new music, stretch out and have fun! This is a friendly, supportive group of musicians who are dedicated to continuing to grow in their music and to help each other in that endeavor. Who is is in it? The original and founding members include Ken Hustad, Jeff Norwood, Ed Harris, Clif Swanson, Fred Atwood and Tim Ferrell. Recent participants include Peter Saxby, Vince Johnson and Frank Merino. All bass players are welcome at any time. This group meets informally, at locations including the Cal Poly music facilities and members homes.
